How to re-install firmware of ReadyNAS Duo

1. Power ReadyNAS Duo off

2. While press reset button (is located in the back of NAS), power on.

3. Unitl turn on the LED of disks once, press reset button (about 5 second).

4. When turn on the LED of disk once, Release the reset button immediately. If you not, NAS will be factory default with all data in the disks.


Then, with RAIDar, you can set up NAS.

* In addition

Re-installed NAS will be 192.168.168.xxx or local ip.

Therefore, you have to change ip to 192.168.168.xxx (I recommend 192.168.168.100) your PC.

And also, since the password of admin of re-installed NAS is initiated, you have to change the password of admin (initiated password of NAS is netgear1).
